Long-standing Turkish partner joins the Group: company integrates production within Stopson Türkiye and strengthens its presence in international markets.
Trezzano sul Naviglio (Milan), August 2026 — Stopson Italiana has acquired a controlling stake in Modcon Makina, its long-standing production partner in Türkiye, with which it has worked for more than a decade, and is integrating the production of silencers and industrial noise-control systems into the Group. The transaction marks a new phase in the company’s growth, combining its engineering expertise with direct manufacturing capabilities and enabling it to offer the market a complete range of services, from design and engineering through to the manufacturing of its products.
At corporate level, the acquisition has been accompanied by the merger of Modcon Makina into Stopson Makina Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş., the legal name of Stopson Italiana’s Turkish subsidiary. The company will centralise the Group’s industrial and operational activities in Türkiye, while continuing to operate in the market exclusively under the Stopson Türkiye and Modcon brands. Stopson Makina will therefore remain solely the corporate name and will not be used as a commercial brand.
Modcon’s integration builds on a well-established partnership developed through numerous projects and enables Stopson Italiana to incorporate manufacturing expertise already specialised in the production of noise-control solutions. The mutual knowledge developed over the years, together with the complementary capabilities of the two companies, will allow the new organisational structure to become operational immediately, while preserving the identity and technical and commercial heritage of both brands.
For Stopson Italiana, this represents a significant step forward from an industrial perspective. The company will be able to coordinate the entire project lifecycle: from the analysis of noise sources and operating conditions to the definition of the acoustic solution, through to manufacturing, installation and on-site support. This organisation enables the Group to provide customers with a single point of contact while ensuring greater continuity between the specifications developed during the engineering phase and their implementation at the plant.
The Turkish manufacturing hub will produce silencers and integrated noise-control systems for power plants, Oil & Gas facilities and industrial infrastructure. The Group’s direct presence in Türkiye also strengthens its position in a strategic area for the development of its activities across the Eurasian region, the Middle East and MENA countries, increasing its ability to respond effectively to the technical and operational requirements of international projects.

The acquisition continues the internationalisation process launched in 2023 with the establishment of Stopson Türkiye and forms part of the strategy developed by the company in recent years through investments in digitalisation, product development and the strengthening of technical expertise.
